The Katrina video was interesting because it  showed many situations in which people lived with their families about the hurricane. this video demonstrates  how a  terrible catastrophe could not stop  people  to be succesful.    in the video also showed many   fighter people who did everything for get better lives.  people who made protests about their situations and the most saddest thing was that the government did not want to help them. It was so saddest and terrible look how people lost their staffs and everything they had   all their lives  changes totally from that disaster. In addition i could say that  i learned a lot from this video because in my own experience i passed for a similar situation and i know how difficult is live while the process of a hurricane.  i remember how my family suffered in that time. so after watch  this video i understand how that people felt and that is why i felt so mad when in the beginning no body did not want to do anything about it.

The Katrina video was interesting beacuse the film show us the cruel reality that many people suffered by cause of the hurracan Katrina. In my opinion all of those people that faced this natural disaster have a bad memories in their mind.

In the history of the United States Katrina was the most horrible natural disaster that happened arround the world. This catastrophe for many people it has been continued pain of  losing a loved one or losing everything they worked so hard for. Katrina was cause of menthal health problems because people had suffer the most devastating impact of the storm, which killed thousands of people and destroyed entire towns. Also Katrina was cause of economic problems and the preliminary damage estimates were well in excess of $100 billions. Katrina as a result of pain in people that losed their families, also was cause of poor because people losed everything including their houses for this reason many people would turned homeless. In addition to the catastrophe many people suffered serious chronic deseases like dearrhea, depression, nerve damage , heart and blood vessel disease. Etc.

The Katrina video was interesting, well the parts i was able to see. It will be a little hard too actually say my opinion since i was not present for the begining or the ending. As it showed lots of people were in serious need. Some seemed to get aid, while other’s had no choice but to camp out by the freeway, i find that rather sad but then again who wouldn’t?  Im just stating the obvious.

I believe the Government might of not done all that he could of too help the Katrina victims. Maybe he did all he could of. But not everyone got the proper care they needed. Maybe not enough, food, clothing, shelter, clean water, or medical attention. At least he could have provided a separate place with all of these necessities for smaller children or senior citizens.

Trouble the Water

Trouble the Water was a great and a different  documental becuase it showed us issues that one couple pasted during the Katrina Hurricane. It also showed us that a lot of people that lived in New Orleans didn’t know what to do at the moment that they annaunced them that there was going to be a Hurricane and a lot of that people didn’t have money or a car to get out of there and they couldn’t do anything about it. In the documentary we saw a couple that film all the way trough the hurricane and how they survive and help people, that couple stayed their and they were filming when the hurricane was occuring they saw people death floating in the water, they saw people that the knew trying to survive, they saw how other people tried to get out of New Orleans. they were really brave to stayed their and not only that because they filmed everything that was happening. And they were always there looking for people to see if they needed help.

The Hurricane left a lot of people without their houses and even without  their relatives. Some of the people that lived in New Orleans before the Hurricane didn’t go back because they were scared. Many people returned and they just found bad news becuase they saw that Katrina had taken everything that they had. Some people has luck to go away but others just stayed their and tried to survive.

Trouble the Water response

In “Trouble the Water”, Kimberly Rivers Roberts and her husband are victims of the horrible disaster that was caused and left behind by Hurricane Katrina. The detaining factor of deadly floodwaters had Roberts and her husband trapped in New Orleans as Hurricane Katrina went on. The things these two had to go through in order to be witnesses of the catastrophic hurricane Katrina were absolutely very dramatic and heartbreaking. But in the end, Roberts came through with what was planned and was able to show the unaware the reality of truly hard lifestyles that are lived where least expected, the United States of America.

Before I saw the documentary film “Trouble the Water”, I knew that its content wouldn’t be anything that I haven’t seen before. Many of the things that were shown in the film were the likes of injustices in American society and is why I wasn’t surprised to see such things when I saw the film. Things such as a lack of interest and effort to help out African-Americans in this country were displayed in the film through an oppresive struggle that the couple had to face in order to film this reality that exists in the U.S. and at an international level.

Trouble the Water (Katrina)

When I first began watching the video, I wanted to go outside because I began to feel sick… The way the woman used the camera made me sick, but after I tried hard I began to feel better. But of course it was just for a moment since later on I began to feel sick of society. Yes, I began to feel sick becuase when catastrophes like this happens in the world, they ( people in power)  really made people feel sick. All those people we saw in the video were suffering becuase they did not have enough help and society did not move one finger to help them.

When I see injustice like this I really got mad becuase I see the irresponsibility of those in power. There are many people in this world that need help and they just ignore us like if we are trash. The video really impacted in my life becasue I do not want these things happen in this world. Many people died for this hurricane and it was unfair since there was many ways of helping them. One way was to help them get a car to go to a secure place for their family. If that was not possible they also could let them go to school or buildings were they could be better.

There are many things people could do. But just becasue these people were poor they did not receive help. Throught the years we had fight for our rights but mostly all staythe same.  The minorities are the ones who suffer most when nature shows up. And people in power have the sources to help them but for me it seems like if they do not care if we survive or not. They do not understand that we are also human and we have the right as the rest, so why made the difference. If we are here is because we belong to the world and as creatures with understanding we need to be treated equally.hurracaine%20katrina2

Well i didn’t see much of the documentary which was Trouble the water but i will talk about what i saw. So this documentary was very sad it was based on Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina left many people homeless, without food, and with missing family members, friends and other people who were either dead or lost in the waters in New Orleans . Many people lost their lives and what was the saddest of all was that the people  their did not receive help they were not treated fairly (no human being should be treated that way no matter what) This was very devastating for all the people and even for me to watch i know that if i was their i would be very devastated and upset because no one bothered to help. Everything their was damaged but the New Orleans residents couldn’t do anything about it. The people just had to deal with it and suffer. This was a huge crisis for the people of New Orleans. In my opinion this documentary was very intense and devastating.

The documentary Trouble the water is the recalls the experience of a family trapped in hurricane Katrina. This documentary is like anything ive seen it show the footage the family took during katrina their condition during the hurricane. The story was very sentimental and at the same time frustrating.

Sentimental in the fact that they where starving and about to drown in their home. I found it frustrating because nobody could help them out or it felt that noone even wanted to help the government of new Orleans did the give any form of transportation for those who did not have   money to leave. The documentary show actual footage of the familny experience as they saw it.Best documentary ive seen in a while.
